For Satair’s office near Copenhagen Airport we are looking for a new member to join our global Digital team.

                       

The Satair business is growing and so is our Digital department. We have a lot of really exciting new digital platforms and services that we will bring to our customers in the next months and years to come.

 

About the position

You will be reporting to the Head of Digital and you and your team of one to two on-boarding specialists is sitting together with the rest of the Digital team in the Copenhagen offices. You will together with your Marketplace team manage all day-to-day activities: overall seller recruitment, on-boarding, account management and reporting. You will work in close collaboration with the Head of Digital and various other teams to ensure the good deployment of the strategic roadmap for the Marketplace business. Here among desired technical features to answer business needs and overall marketing strategies to on our growth targets for marketplace on SATAIR.COM.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for marketplace growth (GMV and turnover)
  • Execute on the long-term vision including seller recruitment strategy to support the long-term growth strategy of the Satair Marketplace
  • Help hire, do train, and lead a team of Seller On-Boarders (technical / developers)
  • Assist in business development activities related to marketplace services and build strategic partnerships as top sellers and aggregators
  • Drive deep business analysis and develop strategic recommendations to exceed marketplace sales goals
  • Work in close collaboration with various teams to ensure a good communication and share of objectives: management, PM team, marketing team, Digital and IT to reach business objectives
  • Act as a strong sponsor of the Marketplace internally

 

In Digital we develop solutions and service to our customer’s in manageable Minimal Variable Product (MVP) deliveries. Therefore we work after the framework agile scrum. Our philosophy and approach is that, it’s better to get a functional solution (MVP) in to the hands of the customer and from there enhance and improve features via customer feedback and data insights. We work in a fast paced environment with many tasks moving simultaneously and priorities changing from time to time. Therefore aligning, coordinating and showing passion and enthusiasm for your work and you colleagues is key.

 

As Satair is an international company, it is important that you are motivated by working with colleagues from different cultures and in different locations. Due to our global setup, travel activity around 30 days a year should be expected.

 

Your profile

The ideal candidate should have:

 

  • Graduate from IT/Digital studies or a relevant background from Airbus or Satair
  • Strong business acumen
  • 2+ years’ experience in running your own team
  • Experience with interacting and dealing with customers and partners in a professional manner.
  • Fluency in English, other languages desirable
  • Ability to travel worldwide
