Service Manager - Tool Services

Key responsibilities

  • Establish comprehensive commercial offers including the relevant elements for management approval
  • Quote on customized spares packages and manage order acquisition and handling
  • Follow up the procurement of all required parts and manage discrepancy clarification until end delivery of subject package to the customer
  • Close coordination with Airbus FHS business unit and supply chain to align scope of commercial offers
  • Lead the Packages Service success factor rating in order to capture market trends from the internal stakeholders and identify key levers for Packages development
  • Further expand the market position in terms of Packages Service provider agreements
  • Establish the Packages Service roadmap and drumbeats fulfillment of its operations (Improvement plan) and development together with the support of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively manage the creation and implementation of global business plans
  • Lead the governance with regards to Packages with regards to operational and financial performance from target proposal (AOP, Forecast) to follow up (MBR – Monthly Business Review)
  • Specify and maintain the Packages dashboards to report on performance including root causes analyses where relevant
  • Manage the end to end operations of packages as a result of package services development and in agreement with the project plan until the transition to Supply Chain is completed
  • Ensure development and maintenance of supplier relations

Professional skills:

  • Degree in business administration with more than 3 years of work experience
  • Excellent practice on MS office, especially MS Access, and good knowledge of SAP
  • Sound knowledge of spares and logistics processes and Airbus services
  • Knowledge of civil aviation requirements and rules and Airbus documentation
  • Sound knowledge of airline’s and MRO’s maintenance requirements
  • Knowledge about the product management discipline
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed profitability targets consistently
  • Strong business acumen
