Accounts Payable Specialist

For Satair’s office near Copenhagen Airport we are looking for a new Accounts Payable Specialist with experience from an international accounting department.


You will become part of a team of 9 skilled colleagues working with accounts receivable, accounts payable and reporting for Satair A/S and Satair UK Ltd. 

You will be responsible for a group of mostly foreign suppliers of spare parts for aircraft maintenance. You will secure proper booking of vendor invoices and on-time payments in collaboration with our colleagues in Procurement.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Process incoming vendor invoices in our invoice recognition software
  • Match incoming invoices with Purchase Orders and Goods Receipts in SAP
  • Alert Procurement to any price, quantity or quality deviations
  • Respond to inquiries from Procurement, Product Management and vendors
  • Investigate cases of missing invoices for goods received
  • Reconcile and settle consignment stock
  • Prepare and execute payments
  • Participate in monthly closing processes
  • Reconcile account statements from vendors
  • Provide documentation for auditors

Your professional qualifications

-        You have previous experience within accounts payable

-        You are fluent in Danish and English both spoken and written

-        You are experienced in SAP or similar ERP system

-        You are experienced in Microsoft Excel

-        You have a sense of diplomacy and can manage conflicting interests

-        You have a can do attitude and thrive in a dynamic environment
